Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Pair and Play Terms of Service. It applies to Customer Content and all activity through the Service.

Pair and Play serves businesses in many industries. A lawful business is not prohibited solely because it operates in a regulated field, but Customer remains responsible for following applicable laws, licenses, regulations, and platform rules for every use and display location.

Customer may not use the Service for unlawful activity or for content that is harmful, threatening, harassing, exploitative, or deceptive.

• Content that promotes, facilitates, or coordinates unlawful activity, fraud, scams, impersonation, or deception.
• Child sexual abuse material, exploitation of minors, or other sexual exploitation. Pair and Play may preserve information and report it to appropriate authorities.
• Pornographic, sexually explicit, obscene, or adult sexual material on public or customer-facing screens.
• Content that credibly threatens violence, promotes serious violent extremist or terrorist activity, or is intended to harass, intimidate, or harm people.
• Spam, abusive traffic, or content that materially misleads viewers about a product, service, affiliation, or offer.

Customer must have the rights and permissions needed for Customer Content and must not infringe copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, trade secrets, or other third-party rights.

Customer may not display unauthorized personal information, dox people, use non-consensual surveillance material, or otherwise violate privacy rights. Customer must not use false, misleading, unsubstantiated, or deceptive advertising, endorsements, reviews, or testimonials.

• Do not present fabricated experiences as genuine or use fake reviews, false testimonials, or improper review incentives.
• Do not use a QR code, link, redirect, or landing page that leads to phishing, malware, fraud, credential harvesting, or materially deceptive content.
• Do not make claims about regulated products or services unless the claims and display comply with applicable laws, licenses, and restrictions.

Pair and Play is not designed or offered for the storage, transmission, or display of protected health information. Customer must not upload, store, transmit, or display protected health information through the Service, including patient records, diagnoses, treatment details, patient identifiers, or other protected health information.

Customer must not upload, store, transmit, or display passwords, authentication secrets, Social Security numbers, complete payment-card information, government identification numbers, or similarly high-risk information through the Service.

Customer may not interfere with the Service, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security or billing controls, introduce malware, or use the Service in a way that harms its availability or other users.

• Do not probe, scan, test, or exploit a vulnerability without Pair and Play's prior written permission.
• Do not use automated or abusive traffic that impairs the Service, scrape protected data, or evade rate limits or access controls.
• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code except to the extent a restriction is not permitted by applicable law.
• Do not use the Service to steal credentials, distribute malicious code, or impersonate Pair and Play or another person or organization.

Customer is responsible for reviewing Customer Content before display and for evaluating whether it is appropriate for the location, audience, and business context. Customer is responsible for its screens, networks, devices, QR destinations, and access controls.

Pair and Play does not pre-screen every item of Customer Content and does not guarantee that a Customer display is appropriate or compliant for a particular audience, location, or industry.

Copyright infringement is prohibited. Pair and Play may remove or disable allegedly infringing material where appropriate. Repeated infringement may result in suspension or termination. Copyright notices and counter-notices are handled under the Copyright and DMCA section of the Terms of Service.

Pair and Play may investigate a suspected violation and may remove content, disable screens, restrict access, suspend or terminate an account, preserve information, or cooperate with lawful requests when appropriate. We will consider the available information, severity, legal obligations, and risk to people and the Service.

To report a suspected violation, email help@getpairandplay.com with the relevant content location and a clear explanation. Do not submit knowingly false, misleading, or abusive reports.
